This was a roller coaster of “good movie”/“ridiculos movie”. I guess the title, Miracle at St Anna, hints at this being an attempt at magic realism. However it’s not executed in a way that grabs the viewer. Plus the end doesn’t do anything to explain what happened and what is the overarching message. The director didn’t know what to cut out. Much too long, could have been a very moving story if edited properly. Also, much of the sound track didn’t seem to go with the video.
