This would have been a better movie without the gold caper and the anti-American rhetoric. It should have focused on each vet's individual experience in Vietnam. Yes, we know about Otis's and Paul's experience, but what about Eddie's experience? What about Melvin's experience? It should have tied all of their stories together in their search for "Stormin' Norman", who they pledged to bring home. If Spike Lee left out the gold caper and dropped the virulent Trump propaganda, this would be a masterpiece. Unfortunately, it's not.
