SPOILER ALERT!!! The movie is good just sad. The director, like Dr Huston, spreads false hope with his lens focused on not only life but the elements that make us human... The the joys of life. The writer tells us how it ends and it ain't good. The IO boyfriend has said all Earth missions will stop once the last Exodus flight leaves. Sam ask if 4.3 light-years means never. Micah ruminates on the possibility of Sam being the last woman on Earth. The director gives us hope with Sam and child standing beach side immune to the toxicity. But what hope could her e-mails of existence possibly possess after the writers hopeless foreshadowing?
