A trailer on apple tv sold it to me as a series about alien invasion, well it is absolutely not about alien invasion it's about week, predictable and not at all interesting drama on like a hundred threads. I regret wasting any time watching it and I absolutely cannot recommend anyone watching it unless they are into very poor and slow drama...

*spoilers ahead* It was probably the worst movie I saw this year. I am giving one star because of the good (mid tier good) quality of the overal movie (visuals, sounds, production in general) otherwise it was a 0 out of 10. I did not read the book (or even heard about it so far), but the movie was practically lacking a story (and that little seed of a story was to be expectd fromt about the 10th mintes) as well as character development, even though there were several good ideas in it. It would have been way more interesting to see the conflicts between men and woman and how they ended up eradicating the women than watching two people fleeing throughout the movie. I missed some kind of an explanation on why the men's thought are visible (or audible? I could not decide which is the case) in general and why women's are not. I also did not really get why the men had to/wanted to raid the arriving ship, but maybe by that point I already lost all of my interest and attention. I had the feeling that I was watching the middle episode of the 6th season of a series and that many things probably made sense it was just lacking context and background. It was also totally lacking any sort of science, I can give the fiction part of sci-fi, it is definitely not a sci-fi movie for me... I would not recommend to anyone to watch it
