Is it a serial killer movie? An occult movie? A horror movie? It tries to be all and fails at all. Almost worth the price of admission for Nicholas Cage's performance though.

Pretty far removed from the actual facts and a large portion of the whole story left out. I saw a made for tv series about this guy with Art Malik in it many years ago that was far superior.
As much as I love Tahar Rahim as an actor, he was the wrong choice for Charles Sobhraj (a half Vietnamese, half Indian man).
