DONT WATCH NOT IF YOU VALUE YOUR BRAIN CELLS!! I watched it in theaters when it first released. It was sooooooooooooooo bad that by time it was over the other patrons in the theater all made comments like "about time" "I'm clapping because the credits is the only good part" "Hollywood really has gone to trash" and so forth. It's a love story that definitely is a forced love between the two main characters. Nothing about their love feels natural. It's not a horror movie because 99.99% of the movie no one gets eaten. Being a cannibal doesn't take back seat, it gets left behind and only pops up in idle conversations. This is the type of movie that is made by someone who thinks they have vision and is liked by people who think they are smarter than those around them and know what art is. The only people in the theater who appeared to enjoy the movie was the kind of person who you would see super glue their hand to the road to protest oil, and we all know what level of IQ those tide pod eaters have. When I checked the reviews before I went to see it and saw that the critics liked it I should have known then it was a burning trash pile. The critics love anything that's horrendous, for example they loved 2016 Ghostbusters....and we all know the other trash piles they loved that bombed....there wasn't any comedy either....like not even a terrible dad joke..... When you read the 5 star reviews and read how it's worded you can tell its not a genuine review. It's either scripted or again it's a review from someon who snorted condoms while licking windows and thinks their gender studies degree makes them smarter and more wise than you. I'm just saying, there's a distinct group who think this movie is great and that group has already been out of touch with reality now for decades.
