LayoVer is a good listen EP after tiring days of work or just chilling. It gives that vibe you keep craving when you wanted that serene moment after tiring days. It is an R&B, soulful music soothing your mind with V's suave soulful voice. This EP is his intro for the music he wanted to make in the future, getting away in the typical genre that his group BTS used to sing. All the tracks is well line up, story flows, nice concept for a visual theme EP. Interesting MV's, cinematography & theory references in MV is interesting. It is about relationships but singing it heartily without a feelings of vengeance but pleading of persuading & hoping for a chance of love to come back.
