It is a story of an emotional struggled life and the author projects through words her view of her own mood swings, observation, character and mannerisms since birth to present times. The book offers an insight to a life journey which has had many paths and challenges of coping with a severe mood disability. An inspiring read of hope, faith, determination, and enlightenment, and guarantees every reader to be familiar with parts of the book. I read this book when I was 14 and I found it absorbing but when you are a teenager you do not worry about the future so it was just an exciting novel at the time. I also enjoyed Animal Farm. My parents came from a country that was controlled and oppressed up to 1989 and I learned all about the harrowing life they had living under dictatorship but it didn't scar me to read any of George Orwell books as I was grateful to have a better life than my parents did. George Orwell is an exceptional author. It is worth reading his books .
