It's a polarising show. It didn't help having the show kick off with Down with the star wars patriarchy , by the stars at the launch event. Those who criticise are not allowed to do so and are called anti-woke. Those who do like it start their reviews with "As a hardcore fan....". My view: underwhelming. I can't connect to the characters because the plot doesn't allow you to.
It screams of wanting to be cool. There might be Easter eggs to keep lore fans pleased. But the plot is weak, the dialogue forced, and casting not great. Based on the two episodes, it's another average show where diversity came before creativity. Give me a reason to care. Presently there is none.
