The cinematography is nice but for the work that must have gone in to making the sets I would expect better acting. Almost every actor is not believable. At some points it is painful to watch the terrible acting.

I am 3 episodes in but i just have to stop and vent. What is going on with hair and makeup? Faith Hill’s makeup and weird tan …so strange. Her daughter’s hair is also out of place long, dyed hair with visible roots was not the thing in 1883. Interesting show but the hair and makeup team were way off the mark.
