I didn't know going in it was a bible /Jesus movie. If they had kept the religious part as a tone or mild theme it may have still been an ok movie. Instead it was a bible thumper movie pushing religion as it's over riding theme. The young actress was engaging and sweet, the dad was just ok. The story sadly was a come to Jesus lesson. Religion is dying slowly and this is how they are trying to get people back in to churches to pay the weekly tithe. - Pass

Calling this a pathetic mess would be too kind to describe this flop. What's to like ? Maybe the dog? Bad script, ridiculous action sequences. Who's idea it was to have RG driving an open boat with two men following in an another boat - The machine gun fire leveled at Gosling would have wiped out 50 people. Nope just utter silliness. I wanted to leave about 40 minutes in but was with someone that liked the lead actors. The positive reviews are either bought off or written by those without any idea of what makes a good film. Pure drivel, not worth a dollar on a streaming service.

What a let down after the first one was a lot of fun and often hilarious. This film came off like at was made by the Hollywood PC police. I could only make it 30 minutes in and gave up. I didn't laugh once. CGI nonsense, irritating CGI elves, poor acting, poor script., throw-away villain. Not even Kurt and Goldie could save this turd. Watch the first one again, this is bad, even for a sequel. SMH bad.

Awful, CGI fest where the actors should have died 20 times half way through the film. Only the lead actress SJ do you develop any empathy for. The rest are throw-aways. Seems like these movies are nearly all computer fakery that makes it hard to care what happens to the actors. Bad script, assumptive leaps takes the movie from a promising start to about half way through you couldn't give a hoot and contemplate walking out. My GF loved it so it seems to be a love it or hate it film. In my mind the potential was there for a great BW movie. It just wasn't.

I'm surprised so many here pan this film. It's not great, but it certainly shines where it should. Big Tech is leading us down the path of Big Brother. The issues of spying, privacy, public shamming, data collection, drone technology to come is all pervasive and relevant. The movie is eye opening and a cautionary tale.Whether the acting was or wasn't great or the script wasn't ideal etc isn't the point. This should scare the hell out us and for good reason.
