Jumper is such a disappointment to be honest. Apart from the VFX there's nothing captivating about the movie. The script was greatly rushed, not to mention the nonsensical dialogue between the characters in the movie. There is no backstory to the paledins and jumpers, we are just plunged into the plot with no prior knowledge. We don't know where the two factions originate from. Griffin says that the paledins and jumpers have been at war since the medieval times but we have no idea of how this war came to be and why the two factions despise each other. David's mother is apparently a palledin, then how the hell did she give birth to a jumper. It makes no sense at all , because the directors and writers apparently decided it was fun to leave out such crucial information. And don't even get me started on the anticlimactic ending. Apparently David, teleports Rolland to a cliff and that stops him from persuing him. If it only took that to stop him,then he should have done that from the beginning. It was such a bad ending. It's a terrible movie.
