I watched the first episode hoping it to be as exciting as the film Juggernaut (1974) but I was to be disappointed! Seen as a parody of the genre it was quite amusing, though the constant ad-breaks were very annoying and vitiated any tension there was. The second episode was sour and dour by turns and now the ad-breaks were very welcome as they served to ease the gloom somewhat. The third episode I watched very little of as the whole enterprise had now lost its appeal. I read the reviews of the later episodes, which were no improvement, and the last in which the villain (which like many others I had spotted as soon as he entered the cast) made his move. I was surprised to read that ITV had recommissioned this farrago of poorly written nonsense and can only hope that Kerry Godliman escapes it unharmed.
