Beautiful scenery, and a compelling story. I am by no means an AC officianado, so I am writing this purely as a casual gamer. I've played AC Unity, Black Sails, and a little of bit of Origins on xBox One. I got Valhalla as a freebie with my AMD Ryzen 9 3900x CPU purchase, and have played it for about 8 hours so far on my newly built PC. I really love the game. It's been entertaining, the combat is fast and furious, stealthing is a little too easy (maybe I need to increase the difficulty level though :-) Visually, the game offers impressive vistas, spectacular mountains, and the clothing and weapon details are beautiful as well. Granted, I haven't even headed to England yet, but I am definitely happy with the game thus far. Interesting characters, some good voice acting, and really, how can you NOT love the Viking theme? I've had some issues with the game crashing, but that's probably due to my aggressive overclocks on my old GTX 960 (trying to help it keep up with the 3900x!). Yeah, I know, I need a new GPU, but right now, the whole GPU market is stupid. Like, insanely overpriced.
