Absolutely, horrible. As as lifelong King Kong/ Godzilla fan I felt this movie is EASILY is the worst thus far-, infact way, way, worse. .. In the 1st 8 mins kong is reduced to a mere cartoon character-I knew it wasn't getting any better. White paternalism rears it's usual cringe worthy cluelessness, but if you liked avatar then maybe that's ok with you. So much bad writing and acting-I just don't even want to begin. Although a FEW of the jokes land, it just tries waaay too hard to be funny too much of the time. Beautiful CGI all squandered on a cornball story line that's not even that interesting. Godzilla's scenes were the best, but his camera time is too minimal to save the rest of the film. Do you self a favor and see Minus One instead. This movie has almost Zero going for it.

Lifelong Godzilla fan. Believe the hype. The movie is DOPE! Not only are visuals spectacular,but the human story and the background set in WW2 will compel you to care about the characters. Excellent balance between human screen time and Godzilla screen time. Great story, acting, special effects, cinematography. Worth multiple rewatches!
