I was not ready for it. As soon as it dropped, I was there, clicked on it, and immediately I knew that something was different. That intro blew me away, and I was even more stunned when I heard Mattel. This is by far one of my favorite A7X albums, 9.3/10. It’s different, it’s unusual, but it’s amazing. I HIGHLY recommend it. ☝️ And the way they ended it, with that over 4 minute long piano ballad, it was beautiful. They knew what they were doing. The guitars, the drums, all of the instruments, and especially M Shadow’s voice, they were really rad. Some people might get upset over this album, “It’s not old A7X!! Go back to your roots!!”, things like that. Bands and artists don’t necessarily NEED to cater to their listeners, their fans. So of course some fans won’t like this. That’s perfectly fine. But by god, this is one outstanding album, and I’m happy to share that this is my first album they released while I was a fan :)) of course I’ve listened to their other albums, but I’m still technically a kid, so this was great :)) Again, 9.3/10, listen to it, love it, it’s magnificent :D
