Neon Genesis Evangelion is in a right of its own one of the best anime shows ever created, you may love it or hate it after watching it putting the watcher through an emotional roller coaster. The show tells the story of a boy named Shinji ( and a lottt of mechas I mean a lot ) trying to find a place for himself in the world, there are some dark scenes that really make you think and some light-hearted ones that make your heart melt, with the help of the amazing art the show clearly and truly conveys the message it is trying to tell. It is brilliant as it separates itself from other animes showing real human emotions, a human aspect to it showing what he felt through the whole series from always being alone to finally having a home somewhat then accepting his place then losing it all again rather than most streamline ones that are all fantasy and no real emotions maybe some but not a lot. It might give u daddy issues and a butt load of memes mostly of "GET IN THE ROBOT SHINJI!" hence why Neon Genesis Evangelion truly is a worthwhile show to watch. Oh and if you really watch to watch the one that doesn't give millions of eva fans headaches watch the 1995 subbed version ( NOT the Netflix one*).
