The writing and entertainment value was really good. However, the casting of Blacks and people of color in this series became more and more disappointing as the seasons continued. This show as with far too many, is filled with centuries old stereotypes, racists limitations on Black People's values, love lives & morals, while making Whites the saviors, lovers and center of everything good, fully human and meaningful. The times Whites do something bad, they are fully humanized as to why they did what they did and their motives fleshed out. The Blacks (of consequence) which are far too few in this series, do wrong with barely any background story nor explanation to their thoughts. They are either antagonists, weak-willed, "side-kicks", delusional or inconsequential. The people of color beside MIA are the same. MIA clearly takes on a civil rights narrative, who's blood in real life was shed primarily from Blacks in America and was given to MIA, (an Asian) and as White characters take on a GOD like role, able to live, see above it all and triumph. I'm 52 years old and these narratives not only carry on White Supremacists themes (while seeming acceptive and progressive) they also make Blacks irrelevant in the moral compass of the world which is the furthest thing from the truth of life.
