As a fan of Percy Jackson, it's really nice to see another attempt at making it into a TV series. The actual story plot fo the show is good, but it is the only thing keeping me watching. The script writing along with some of the line deliveries are so hideous that it completely ruins the experience. It takes effort to power through some of these scenes as It feels like some of these conversations were AI-generated and then somehow approved (extremely unnatural and awkward). Also, I have a personal bias against these kids because their voices all sound so nerdy it makes me feel uncomfortable which just doesn't align with the books.
