I started watching this after the Golden Globes awarded this show as the BEST COMEDY SHOW of 2023. That is usually good enough for me and I always like a good comedy. So in I dive..... Now, a lot of today's comedy is more of a "dramedy" where it is a funny show that makes or deals with serious issues sometimes. This I understand. THE BEAR....I don't understand..and I am now deep into the 2nd season. I trying to find the humour in this show. It seems more like a show devoted to the Idea that creating and running a quality restaurant is a difficult thing. There are some quirky characters, some interesting situations and some high tension....but funny?...No...it is not funny. I now watch the show because it is a interesting situational story about creating a restaurant...one of the toughest industries to compete in. I am not treating as a comedy anymore, but as the character driven story that it is....which is OK....but NOT A COMEDY. Watch it for that.
