I watched it when I was little and I still watch it. I don't find it bad, boring, or childish in any way possible, and it is the best show in my heart. Ever since I was little, I LOVED talking cars. Not just robots, it had to be cars and they were able to talk so I really loved shows like Turning Mecard, Transformers (although I never really watched it thoroughly, just a few scenes and the new bumblebee movie), Knight Rider, and Tobot. But out of all of them, I loved Tobot the most and still do. I was so shocked and so excited when they said the original series was coming back so I am rewatching the series and now that I am older, I can see and understand the small details and other things I didn't notice before.
I think I also figured out why I found Tobot the best mech show ever. It's because of the relationship between the Tobot and their pilot/human. Tobots are sometimes like a parental figure/guardian and sometimes like an older sibling, and sometimes like a child/younger sibling. This kind of strange but wholesome relationship makes you feel like Tobots are not just robots, but a part of their family. 사랑해 또봇!
