Let's be frank here,
Nothing is ever going to be as good or compared to exactly as the book version. I felt they changed so much of how the book version was, when they placed it on screen. jumbled it a bit too much maybe? Idk but I'm not mad at it. It's just I do think they could have kept it a bit more the same as the book and still added their own screen flare to it.
This being said here is what i think about the show version.
[To the viewers]
To be honest the show isn't bad, as long as you haven't read the book than you should find your eyes glued to the screen. You should find yourself creeped out by gingerbread smoke and a man in a very old car [who in his own right is very old] who likes to "save children, and put them in a safe place called Christmasland". To Be pulling for the brat to find her happiness because lets face it the world shes in isnt so rainbows and lollipops am i right fellow fans of the book? Lol
Overall, check it out your going to find the creepy nostalgia of horrors past and maybe even find yourself wishing to never hear christmas music again.
In the end check it out,
Like it , leave it ...
