I’ve always been a little bit in love with Leonard so I had high expectations of the film. It did not disappoint. It was beautifully choreographed, like a dance. Love was found, love was lost and love was reconciled. Leonard’s explanation of love in relation to ‘content’ is so authentic, everyone who has ever been love will understand his words. The film shows the hedonism, the dangers and the victims of such a reckless lifestyle lived out on Hydra. The film touches your heart, uplifts your soul and reminds what it is to love. I cried tears of sorrow on hearing Leonard’s last words to Marianne, they were truly ‘Words of Love’.
