If you like the first one and fell in love with the characters and actors that played them, you probably won't enjoy this as they've all been replaced. Apparently the new director decided to make it his own, he didn't want to carry on with the previous actors because he wanted a fresh slate. He probably hadn't heard of "If it isn't broke don't fix it" and almost certainly let his ego overrule common sense.

Just watched I'm Thinking Of Ending Things on Netflix ..that's over 2hrs of my life I've lost forever. It's the kind of movie people claim to like because they want you to believe they're artistic & clever. It's actually just boring & you should avoid it.

We were excited to see it as the first one was so entertaining & you left on a real high. Fantastic Beasts 2 is the total opposite, we found ourselves watching it for 2 hours but really feeling nothing at all. No real highs, no real feeling of any emotions throughout. In some ways you could say this movie was depressing if that were the one emotion you could name. I've left movies before where you can just feel the mood of everyone, but this was like no one said a word and just wandered out. If you pay money to be entertained then I'd suggest you spend it elsewhere and I'm not suggesting you just spend it on a comedy instead. I'd rather have paid £11.30 and sat down and watched "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them" all over again.
