The biggest issue with this movie is nothing is setup. There isnt any reasons or setup for the characters motivation. This makes the movies tone baffling. Its not clear what this movie should be. No tension so cant be a thriller, the mystery is spelt out every step of the way so its not that and the romance isnt there. Halfway through is swings from no sex to suddenly leaning into it. Honestly the Bone Collector is a better version of the movie. Or any of the 3 Alex Cross movies.
