There are a lot of reviews that capture the entertaining, or not, value so I'll be short. If you're not aware, this book, released in 1971 was banned in California because California thought it would make kids believe that the timber industry was bad. In other words, they were afraid of harm to an industry that California profited handsomely from, contrary to what California wants people to believe today. Funny huh? Hopefully this old classic (hopefully this movie version gets the important message through) will give people a different view on conservation, and taking care of this giant ball with way too many people on it that don't care about anything but themselves. We can bring things back to a better place and sustain ourselves, the greedy, lazy humans. :^) Go Native Y'all!
