First, I watched the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. A movie I watched years ago, but I wanted to get familiar with the characters before I watched the Girl in the Spider's Web. Like WOW, and I mean in a bad way. The setting is suppose to be a few years later, from Dragon Tattoo,. How do you cast a younger looking, Mikal Blomkvist (Journalist), his female journalist partner? I guess with a casting crew under 21. And, Lisbeth Salander, it seems that she no longer has a high metabolism. A comment she made in the 1st movie to the police officer, before going to look at some crime scene photos. But the biggest disconnect, Lisbeth told Mikal, while lying in bed together, that she was award to the state at age 12 because she tried to kill her father, burned 80% of him, and he died later. Yet in Spider's Web, it starts with Lisbeth jumping off the house's tattered balcony, survives a 5 story drop, down the side of a rock cliff, and runs off in the snow. Later, in this James Bond wanna-be movie, she meets up with her evil sister and we learn that the Dad molestes her sister for 16 years until adulthood. Maybe the director should have watch the Dragon Tattoo first.
