I don't watch a lot of dramas generally, so I can't get all film critic about it, but I really liked the movie. Ivan felt real to me, he felt like a real person with little quirks and neuroses and a background that we only see some of. I wasn't sure whether it was something that would be able to keep my attention, but I was riveted the whole time. Despite the fact that you see his mistakes and the way he's very..not harsh but expectant of everyone, I couldn't help but root for him and hope that everything will work out in the end, mostly because he's trying so hard to do what he believes to be the right thing. Fantastic job by hardy to be able to keep attention for a whole film all by himself just sitting there.
