Definitely the worst ending to a promising beginning. It also would not be the BBC if they had not put their political slant and left wing ideas into making this an anti-colonialist attack on our history...straight out of the Corbyn play book. This is the worst adaption of the War of the Worlds that I have ever seen and I should have turned it off during the second episode. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time watching it, if you haven't already.
