It is a musical. If musicals are not your thing, then this might not be your thing. That being said, it is a happy and refreshing movie. There is some language and innuendo, that maybe was not necessary but it is PG13 - so you know. Great musical numbers and dancing. Like that they kept special effects to strictly necessary and favored a more stage/theatrical approach - especially on the dance numbers. Some are big ensemble numbers that gives a nod to Broadway and West End as the movie takes place in NYC and London. The movie also frowns upon social media bullying - a kid seems to commit suicide as a result which is something that does happen. Some people will take issue on that - I appreciate the bold move. Pleasantly surprised on how they reimagined the Christmas Carol to make it different yet relatable. The soundtrack is excellent.

This weird program is pure genius. It is borderline irreverent yet actually educational. I found myself chuckling and wondering what the guests were thinking while being interviewed. How Diane Morgan does it all with a straight face is probably the best part. Pump the jam Star wars 😂
