As a person who has never read the books and has seen the movies, this show really outshines the movies. And now I am finding myself buying the whole book set and I never like to read books. This show is so good I don’t know how people can watch this show and not love it. I’ve seen lots of criticism about every tiny detail. Rick the author of the book is helping make these books come to life and so far, has done an amazing job. The characters literally fell out of the book. Walker is literally Percy Jackson, Aryan is Grover, and Leah is most definitely the perfect Annabeth. So what they didn't match the character description from the book. They all hold the spirit of what the characters should feel like and in my opinion that is perfect because even though Logan Lerman looked the part, he wasn’t the right age so it just didn’t feel right. I will continue to love and praise this series and I hope it gets a season two and so on.

thought i wasn't going to like it but I loved this show so much. My favorite scene was watching Jenna Ortega improvise the dance she did. I need a season two ASAP.
