This is my favourite translation. We love the living Bible and the message because of their up to date meaning for us, however this is the most meaningful . When you have difficulty understanding this is the best. Its translation of the beatitudes ( which in many other versions we were reading in a Bible study puzzled us ) is brilliant. Made perfect sense. We use other versions the king James and updated king James the orthodox Jewish Bible and others , but we like this version the best when we are reading together as a church
