Genius! The story is full of three dimensional characters. Riveting details which set your mind on edge. Love-able people (characters) which you can relate to in real life. A vivid and colorful story so rich in detail that you are transported to a different world for the time being. You hang on every word and cannot put the book down.
Stephen King takes his time in unraveling the tapestry of his tale. He takes you to places you have never been before and see them in your mind's eye.
The only other book that I enjoyed as much as 'The Stand' is 'The Dead Zone'.

Lately we have received some very good movies from South Korea. The Witch: Part 1 Subversion (2018) is no exception. Entertaining, fast paced and very human. It features some well known Korean actors which deliver a quality performance. My wife and I truly enjoyed the action, CGI and fight choreography.
