Decent movie, but not enough to top the original. John Lithgow was amazing as always. They implemented church a bit better. But my biggest complaint was that Zelda was not as terrifying as the 1989 movie. Zelda in the original gave me nightmares. This Zelda was more about jump scares. The other Zelda was in your face hard to watch. If you've never seen the 1989 version, you will enjoy the remake. If you have seen the 1989 version, be prepared to see some new faces.
