A film that may sound poetic, is fantastically realistic, but it is not as dramatic as it should be.
It was vaguely clear that the film was raising a feminist issue, perhaps about misogynists or harassers. In the real world, Anna is apparently mistreated and sexually harassed by a man/the owner of the place she works for, then we go to the fictional world that Anna has moved to, and there we see a war going on between women and men, Anna joins a squad of three female soldiers who lead the men to their death without exception, and there Anna goes through exceptional experiences, beautiful and dangerous ones until the time comes to question her main purpose in this imaginary world, and live an internal struggle between her and her peers that pushes her to make a final decision, believing that she has found the solution in the real world.
I could not relate to any character in the story, but I wanted to relate to Anna more than that because she is the central character and because she carries the main message in the film, and this was evident in the first ten minutes. I wished there was a more detailed background about her character and more time with her before we moved on to her imaginary world, and I wished the transition into that world was more convincing.
In general, the movie is okay, I loved the cinematography, the locations, the acting, the music, and the idea of the two worlds.
