so in scanning other reviews i see it's a mostly love or hate the game. i'm on the hate side. i have every NBA 2k series since NBA 2k on the Sega Dreamcast. this is by far the worse NBA video game i've ever played and i'm even counting the NBA Live series. they get worse every year. i won't comment on WNBA, or the My Player modes in the game. hate them-never play them. only GM mode. 1st thing i do is turn off all music-terrible over the years. where the game describes articulated offense. just shoot the 3. spectacular defense-your team is never in the lane or even the key to guard the opposing players. better controls-a joke. becoming more and more complicated, confusing every year. especially when part color blind. so the meters-off now redundant. waste of time. then the load times for ridiculous voiceovers you don't want, the commentary is awful and repetitive. the "guest" commentators are brutal. sponsors-need fluids-drink Gatorade. basically got this game on recent PSN store $12.79. done, deleted, gone. won't give it a 2nd thought. i'll play nba 2k20 for somewhat recent rosters or go back to NBA 2k5 on original XBOX. either way i'm done paying yearly for this title.
