I don't generally fawn over a television series, much less a TV series in the Star Wars franchise, and I've been a fan since I first stood in line in 1977 to see the very first film.
In fact, if the Star Wars universe had ended with the first 3 movies I would have said it was as close to perfect as world building got, but we all know what happened after that (a series of sharks jumping over other sharks) and things looked pretty bleak for the franchise until ... Andor.
I would like to imagine that in some alternate universe, George Lucas deemed himself creatively tapped after the first 3 movies and handed over custody to Tony Gilroy. In that same alternate universe, I'm sure that cheap Fusion power was invented, warfare was eliminated, mankind went back into space and explored the solar system, and the Star Wars Holiday Special never happened.
Oh well, at least we still got Andor in this universe so life isn't all bad!
