A fine return to form from the most important (former) member of Styx. The prog rock moments shine (Isle, Little Did We Know, Kingdom) and his magical keyboard tinkling never lets up. For the doubters, Dennis cranks it up with a guest appearance by Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and the Covid-19 pandemic influenced anthem With All Due Respect. DDY can still write an excellent ballad (You My Love) and the pairing with Julian Lennon about reminiscing and being thankful for what we have. With the inevitable comparsion to Styx' last two studio albums (Mission, Crash), Dennis offers more in terms of mirroring the golden age of Styx and his own material that progresses through a new era, harking back to Styx' finest material while being classic DDY.
