Excellent book. My cousin, John Echols, was one of Stonewall Jackson's generals, and even is mentioned. That makes this work all the more valuable to me.

This piece of garbage is nothing but anti-Christian filth. It presents Christians as the bigoted, uneducated enemies of free thought and atheists and agnostics as the champions of freedom. It is a wretched, dirty lie that leaves the audience with the impression that in the real-life case Clarence Darrow destroyed William Jennings Bryan on the witness stand. That never happened. It isn't worthy of anybody's time. The vile thing.
