This drama completely did drive me crazy by its unrealistic story and unrealistic fighting techniques. I encountered with huge difficulty identifying each character seperately specially since all in whites looked same. Some times I had to rewatch some scenes to recognise the relevant character. No idea why they are obssesed in creating and watching unrealistic and fantasy dramas that much. Moreover it seems Chinese actors are not as handsome as Koreans. Very poor looking

I understood his acting skills very well in the very first scene of this play. That's why I started reading the novel related to this. I can't think of anyone other than these for its character Tang san and the other characters. Everyone puts on a very high performance. Love its music and specially VFX .. (feel like I also wanna be a soul master) I'm getting to see it every day, no matter where I am in the world

this is literally a masterpiece. The best K drama. An intense and dashing performance by Kim Nam Gil. Will be watched repeatedly for sure.

I came here after watching drama the Queen Seondeok. Hwarang is one of worse historical dramas,I have watched. The story is supposed to 1500 years back, from Silla dynasty but its music is so modern in 2019- 2020. That is terrible. I checked and compared episodes ratings in Nationwide and seoul of both Queen Seondeok and Hwarang, when Queen seondeok had achieved and hold 1st and 2nd place since its begining, Hwarang episodes had not even ranked to top 20.. when I heard the name "Hwarang", techniques of martial arts, swords and archery are supposed to be highly advanced but in here I found all are weak..sorry guys this drama truly dissapointed me.
