This is superbly entertaining and twinkles with delightful humour to counterbalance a story centred around death and bereavement, for which it has a quiet, compassionate respect.
The characters are clearly defined and completely credible as the plot twists and tangles around them.
The acting is wonderful and the characters are clearly drawn, through them the skilfully written story is told, it is compelling. The theme music is utterly beautiful with a poignancy reflecting that of the central story.
I was a tad disappointed with the inconclusive ending as I had become so involved with everything, I only hope we don’t have to wait too long for the 2nd series.
