Two years later, and I still love this movie. Feels even more relevant than ever. I feel like the hate for this movie is that people don't like looking in the mirror.

I firmly believe that this screenplay was written by an AI. It is seriously like watching ALL the most popular films of the last few decades ALL at once. It's unreal. My husband and I made a drinking game out of it! Also multiple periods of history - Rome planet, Viking Planet, Nazi Planet. So many story lines lifted, you would think there would be a story line or plot. But it somehow had neither! It's actually impressive how bizarrely bad this film was. And YAY there is already a sequel....

Prefect prequel. Sets up original 'The Thing' beautifully.

Not sure why all the low reviews. This was like watching a series of Black Mirror style shorts. So well done!
