The movie felt unnecessarily long, attempting to infuse a magical element reminiscent of Westworld but ultimately undermining it with weak dialogue delivery. While the cinematography was visually impressive, it couldn’t salvage the overall experience, as the plot lacked depth and failed to leave viewers wanting more.
Hanumankind’s debut, reduced to a comical scene of being pushed off a hill as a corpse, felt like a wasted opportunity. It’s disappointing to see a director, known for crafting marvellous films in the past, deliver a project that spirals downhill so quickly.
Despite its visual appeal and strong musical essence, the movie suffers from poor execution. The narrative spirals around a feud that lacks any real connection or justification for the escalating tension. The characters are underdeveloped, with little attention given to their actions or motivations, leaving them feeling purposeless in the broader context of the story. While the cinematography shines, it’s not enough to mask the weak plot and disjointed storytelling. A disappointing effort from a director whose previous works set much higher expectations.
I don’t understand why such hype for this movie.
