This is such a bad film. The writing is awful, the dialogue is from a bad 90s C movie and the only character who is likable is a colonel who is on screen for about a minute. Anthony Mackie is wasted frankly and I can only assume he did this to pay bills.
The action sequences are good, but they can't save this dull and unengaging train wreck. I slogged in to the half hour mark and was so checked out I crossed the next half hour having just zoned out and not even realising time had passed.
Plus the premise, old russian nukes, crazed terrorist, done and done, to death. Throwing in robots to try and give some half baked script idea a modern twist, how very 80s of the writers.
The acting is okay, camera work is pretty good, but honestly if you SPOILERS want to watch someone try to stop a renegade using nuclear weapons watch True Lies.
