Best one yet. I loved the slower pace of this one, as it pertained to a 40 year old cold case. I always enjoy the vivid descriptions, nit-picky details and world-building in these novels, so I thoroughly enjoyed the longer read. The characters are realistically flawed and thus so relatable - I cringed a bit as I recognised my own behaviour in there. I'm also really enjoying the gradual build-up of the relationship/chemistry between Robin and Strike - #Strobin anyone?! Savour this if you have enjoyed the previous books in this series. Looking forward to the next story already!
