Ten minutes into the film and my mom and I were in agony. The songs can hardly be called songs, because the timing was off and disorganized. And the singing was absolutely terrible. It may have been better if they had actually used professional singers. The plot was sadly jumbled up and lost my interest as it went on. I'm sure the animators knew what they were doing, but most of the time, it seems they were confused on how to physically portray the dogs. One minute they have normal dog proportions and the next minute they suddenly have hands, arms, and are standing on two legs. Overall, the movie seemed disorganized and, well, bad. Maybe if I had stuck around until the end it could have gotten better, but by about ten to fifteen minutes, my mind was done and I had no further desire to continue watching.

It may not be the best Disney film ever, but it is still one of my favorites. It is the movie I turn to whenever I'm sad and need a pick me up. The music is fantastic and stylish, the characters are well designed, the plot makes sense, and there is plenty of good humor. Although most people are a fan of Hercules, I, personally, believe Hades is the real star of the show. Without his quick wits, laugh out loud humor, and scheming to move the plot along, I feel the movie would be dull and uninteresting. Meg and Hades work off of each other perfectly and they give the movie an extra spice that can be missing from other films. Overall, I adore this movie and am hyped to see that Disney is bringing its classics back. Now--When are we getting a Hades movie :D
