Disclaimer: I knew and heard nothing about about the 'true story' this movie was based on. I put this on my watch list solely because of Rhimes involvement. I found it thoroughly entertaining from start to finish and found myself rewinding back to many scenes and lol at the witty dialog. It's one of those rare series where I deliberately slowed down watching it because I didn't want it to end. I looked forward to seeing the "..... the truth except when it isn't..." at the beginning of each episode. I also thought the based on real life events was a tongue in cheek joke because how could this stuff be real? My second thought was but the misogynistic references are indeed very much real. After all, it's a fact that every woman has experienced it in the workplace. And even the blind can see how accurate the references to corruption and criminal actions are to our political so called leaders - orange 🤡 and otherwise. Outstandingly written, smart casting and brilliantly directed. Sorry I waited so long to view it. I'm now inspired to read up about the real people & events that inspired this intriguing story.

Initially gripping and intriguing. It didn't help that it was 3 episodes too long and failed in it's efforts to build the characters or make them relatable, let alone believable. Lots of unnecessary plots twists that failed to be interesting and bordered on the ridiculous. The storyline plot was better than good but the script was boring, boring, boring.
