It's actually really good. Henry Cavill is a brilliant and stunning actor with personality of superman, but an exception of the clark Kent portrayal. The cgi is groundbreaking, almost mesmerizing if you will. The zooms in the camera is a nice touch too. Considering this was the darkest superman movie, it's really underrated.

This is Del Toro's best film. It takes away so many genres to inflict pain and richness and romance and horror to the greatest ghost, war. It has the most unlikable villain of all time. I really wanted to just throw a chair at the tv when I was 9. And with the new criterion release I went back and yeah, it's thrilling and fun and devastating. Amazing Spanish gothic. And there are just moments that are creepy as hell that really got to me which is surprising because every horror film I had seen before The Devil's Backbone was just jump-scare after horrible writing and bad acting. And while that can be creepy for some. Foreign films are just altogether better than most of other films. (for Americans).

The Truman Show is terrifying, more terrifying than any horror movie. This uncertainty we meet with Truman, reflecting on reality but maybe knowing it's not. Jim Carey is iconic and is portraying a man who has lost his sense from the cameras that follow him everywhere we go. A masterpiece in character, a masterpiece in some hilarious gags and story. It's a perfect film with all the pieces in the right area, but if one single piece is pulled a little out it all falls.

Dramatic and swooning dramas never hit hard like this. With powerful acting and the most famous quote from a PTA film.

Characters are simply 7 dimensional, jokes are actually funny and hilarious, and finally a villain with motives that are human and is treated like a human. One of the best shows ever.

This film was an homage to so many things, superheroes in general because of the 4:3 ratio making them the only thing you can see in stunning god shots. So much lore, so much character in-depth was brought to life for Whedon's film was not. Satisfying at the end, Jared Leto got his deserving credit. SO MANY characters got their deserving glory and continuity. I even think Eisenberg's Lex Luthor was pretty good. I love this movie, Snyder is a genius.

The Visuals are tonally scary. At some scenes it makes the Gotham City the largest and most scariest thing in the world, then in small buildings. Suffocating, Blinding and Small.
