It was a risk, bu was worth every minute. The writers managed to sneak in a neat storyline, great music that's actually not "gimmicky" at all, but rather authentic and organic enough to move the story forward.

A more realistic take on a world where "powered" people abound, the movie is quite good, considering the budget. The script needs a LOT of work, but the overall premise sets a tone for a potential future limited series.
If the limited series happens, here's hoping they also focus on the origin of the story (the flash introduction at the beginning, was rushed and convoluted at best). A focus on the characters may also prove helpful in establishing their own depth.
I vote 3 stars and hope that the Amells pursue the story even further.
