A riveting read, a worthy successor to Sleepers, Wake!
However, his partisanship shows. How did he get through the book without ONCE mentioning the Greens? And without referencing Tim Flannery, one of the most erudite and articulate advocates for the environment?
On pages 334-5 he gives 19 dot-points of what "a new party should commit to ... I would like the ALP to be that party."
Hullo? Those 19 points could have been lifted verbatim from an Australian Green Party manifesto!
